Job description

Subcontracts Administrator (Remote) 

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 36 years’ experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Subcontract Administrator to join our team. This position is currently remote. 

Overview: The Subcontract Administrator will manage, review and administer subcontracts with our clients. We are seeking an employee skilled in cross-functional collaboration to ensure all agreements are compliant with company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of contract law, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Draft, review, and manage contractual documentation, including terms, conditions, and agreements with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Track contract expenditures against funding values and ensure all assigned contracts remain within approved budget.
  • Negotiate contract terms and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
  • Maintain and organize a centralized contract database, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of contracts.
  • Monitor key contract deadlines, including renewal dates, deliverables, performance milestones, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, finance, HR, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and administration of contracts.
  • Assist with risk assessments and compliance audits related to contract obligations.
  • Prepare reports on contract status, compliance, and potential issues for senior management.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and adherence to terms.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and provide administrative support during the process.
  • Support the legal department in the development and updating of standard contract templates.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration or a related role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Government Contracting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Government contract law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
