Position: Social Media and Marketing Manager
Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: EST
Tasks:
Plan, execute, and manage pre-launch and launch marketing campaigns for new products, services, or experiences
Develop a social media calendar and maintain consistent daily posting across all platforms
Write engaging captions and design visual content that aligns with the brand voice and target audience
Create Instagram and TikTok Reels, short-form videos, and trend-driven content
Design and distribute newsletters that inform, engage, and drive traffic or bookings
Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags and descriptions
Regularly update and optimize profile bios, highlights, and pinned posts
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews to foster community engagement
Track and analyze social media and email marketing performance metrics to optimize future campaigns
Conduct research to identify trends, hashtags, and competitor insights
Collaborate with internal or external creatives, influencers, or partners when needed
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience in travel and tourism marketing
Proficient in managing social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Knowledge of SEO (on-page & off-page), keyword strategy, and meta-tagging
Ability to create visually compelling and strategic Reels and other short-form video content
Experience designing and executing newsletters
Strong skills in copywriting, content planning, and brand storytelling
Experience growing audiences, improving engagement, and managing a content strategy
