Job description

Position: Social Media and Marketing Manager

Number of hours: 20 hours/week

Schedule: EST


Tasks:

  • Plan, execute, and manage pre-launch and launch marketing campaigns for new products, services, or experiences

  • Develop a social media calendar and maintain consistent daily posting across all platforms

  • Write engaging captions and design visual content that aligns with the brand voice and target audience

  • Create Instagram and TikTok Reels, short-form videos, and trend-driven content

  • Design and distribute newsletters that inform, engage, and drive traffic or bookings

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags and descriptions

  • Regularly update and optimize profile bios, highlights, and pinned posts

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews to foster community engagement

  • Track and analyze social media and email marketing performance metrics to optimize future campaigns

  • Conduct research to identify trends, hashtags, and competitor insights

  • Collaborate with internal or external creatives, influencers, or partners when needed

  • Other tasks as assigned



Requirements:

  • Prior experience in travel and tourism marketing

  • Proficient in managing social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

  • Knowledge of SEO (on-page & off-page), keyword strategy, and meta-tagging

  • Ability to create visually compelling and strategic Reels and other short-form video content

  • Experience designing and executing newsletters

  • Strong skills in copywriting, content planning, and brand storytelling

  • Experience growing audiences, improving engagement, and managing a content strategy
