Job description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Data Analyst to work closely with the Product Manager, Technical Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, Quality Advocates, Data Engineers, Data Solutions Architect and business stakeholders to ensure the team is delivering the right outcomes.

Building strong relationships is key as you will help the business understand concerns, dependencies as well as potential blockers and conflicts. In capturing this information in robust requirements, you will help enable a smooth delivery pipeline.

As this role will require the coordination of understanding between multiple stakeholders, this person will need to be detail focused.  Strong documentation skills to support contractual sign-off are essential.

Expected travelling time (UK and USA): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business systems analyst, technical data analyst, or technical process analyst
  • 3-5 years of experience in tech, gaming, or entertainment industries
  • 3-5 years of experience working with data and data languages like SQL, knowledge of programming languages like Python is a plus
  • ETL Tools: Experience with ETL frameworks like dbt, Apache Airflow, Talend, or others.
  • Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalization/denormalization.
  • Data Warehousing: Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems for collaborative development.
  • Data Visualization: Basic understanding of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, although not a primary responsibility.
