About the Job

We are seeking an exceptional Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, data-driven, and impactful user experiences across our platform. You will be responsible for designing and delivering UI components and user flows in Figma, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for users.

You will create and refine wireframes, lo-fi, and hi-fi prototypes, iterating quickly based on feedback. Working closely with front-end developers, you will ensure a smooth design-to-code handoff, using tools like Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or Storybook.

Additionally, you will need to maintain a scalable design system, and ensure that all UI components align with the latest design trends, accessibility standards, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Prototyping:

• Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery, ensuring exceptional UI/UX across all platforms.
• Modern Design Techniques: Apply the latest design principles and tools, including interaction design, responsive design, micro-interactions, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
• Wireframes & Page Definitions: Develop detailed wireframes for user registration, login, and other essential pages with a clear user journey.
• Site Mapping & Prototyping: Create comprehensive site maps, low-fidelity (lo-fi) prototypes, and high-fidelity (hi-fi) designs using Figma.
• Interactive Components: Design interactive and responsive UI components that can be easily integrated into front-end development pipelines.

2. Collaboration & Integration:

• Front-End Developer Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to translate designs into functional code, ensuring design integrity is maintained during implementation.
• Component Libraries: Build and maintain a robust UI component library, leveraging both standard design systems and custom components.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Engage in regular sync-ups with other business analyst, in-house developers to refine designs and iterate quickly based on feedback.

3. Advanced Design Practices & AI Integration:

• Figma Mastery: Utilize advanced Figma features such as auto-layout, interactive components, design tokens, and version control to streamline the design process.
• AI-Enhanced Design: Employ AI-powered tools to support design decisions, generate creative alternatives, optimize user flows, and expedite prototyping.
• Design Trends & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest design trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into the project to deliver a cutting-edge user experience.

Requirements

• UI/UX Expertise:
• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, multi-platform solutions.
• Mastery of Figma, including advanced prototyping, collaborative workflows, and plugin integrations.
• Technical Skills:
• Demonstrable experience working with front-end developers; proficient in communicating design specifications and using tools like Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, Storybook, or similar for smooth hand-offs.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML/CSS, React) to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Ability to create detailed design documentation that aids in efficient and accurate implementation.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, bridging design, product, and engineering.
• Additional Skills:
• Extensive design experience in creating both mobile and web interfaces.
• Familiarity with data security considerations and integration with systems like Salesforce and Shopify.
• A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Strategic Vision:
• Ability to take a strategic approach to design, aligning UI/UX goals with overall business and product objectives.
