InterVision Company is seeking an exceptional DevOps Manager or Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of our DevOps strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient application delivery. This role requires a hands-on leader who can articulate complex methodologies to internal and external stakeholders, mentor teams across the organization, and meet billable usage targets while developing and refining DevOps practices.

In addition to expertise in DevOps, this role requires familiarity with modern application development, including React and AWS Lambda functions in multiple programming languages. The ideal candidate will be a well-spoken communicator capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions with stakeholders and customers.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with customer-facing roles, including presentations, consultations, or technical leadership.

Technical Expertise

• AWS Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• Infrastructure as Code: Advanced proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Expertise in tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Modern Application Development: Familiarity with React and AWS Lambda functions in multiple languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Go).
• GitOps: Strong knowledge of Git workflows, GitOps principles, and advanced repository management.
• Code Quality & Security: Experience integrating static code analysis, linting, and security scanning.
• Containerization (preferred): Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS/EKS experience.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong mentoring and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic, distributed environment.

DevOps Strategy & Leadership

• Drive the refinement and execution of the company’s DevOps roadmap.
• Serve as an internal and external advocate for DevOps principles, building trust with stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with leadership to align DevOps initiatives with business objectives and revenue targets.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery.
• Integrate static code analysis, linting, and automated testing into pipelines.
• Support diverse project teams with deployment pipelines tailored for React applications and AWS Lambda functions in multiple languages.

AWS Infrastructure & Automation

• Manage AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Automate deployments with tools such as Amazon Q Developer and GitOps methodologies.
• Ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization of cloud resources.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Mentor geographically distributed teams on applying DevOps principles effectively.
• Facilitate training sessions and hands-on workshops to enhance team skills.
• Foster collaboration across development, operations, and QA teams.

Customer-Facing Engagements

• Act as a trusted advisor for external stakeholders, communicating technical methodologies and DevOps strategies clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions aligned with best practices.

Repository Management & GitOps

• Manage the company’s code repository strategy, including branching, merging, and versioning practices.
• Implement GitOps principles for deployments and infrastructure management.
• Establish advanced Git workflows, pre-commit hooks, and quality control processes.

Revenue Accountability

• Contribute to billable usage targets by delivering high-value projects for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of DevOps initiatives with customer deliverables and timelines.

Monitoring, Security, & Compliance

• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for system reliability.
• Embed security checks into pipelines following DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
