A highly efficient, team-oriented law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of complex litigation coverage experience to join their growing team. This role focuses 100% on complex coverage litigation and involves high-level casework, research, filings, and client interactions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, team player, and proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 / year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload with complex litigation coverage matters
Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and case summaries
Handle court filings and deadlines efficiently
Collaborate with senior attorneys, including case strategy development and litigation support
Assist in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed
Maintain client communication and grow into a client-facing role
Associate Attorney Requirements
Active CA Bar license
2-5 years of experience in complex defense litigation coverage
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Westlaw and Epic is a plus
Trial experience is highly preferred
