Job description

Traveler Experience (TX) is seeking positive, energetic, highly skilled, customer-focused, senior-level travel counselor (TEC II) to join our Swedish Team. This team provides outstanding service for our business travelers. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Help our travelers with any urgent business travel related arrangements (air, hotel, car, rail)
  • Act as a trusted advisor by finding the best possible solution for each case to ensure the best possible customer experience.
  • Ensure reservations are built according to client travel policy, standards and preferences
  • Handle a wide range of bookings including complex pricing, ticketing and reissues
  • Proactively solve any issues that might occur during or before the travel
  • Have the passion to learn new skills and develop.
  • Work effectively and customer-oriented even under pressure
  • Provide excellent problem-solving skills and strive for a positive outcome independently.

Qualifications

Experience & education:

  • Experience
    • 3+ years of experience working as a Business Travel Consultant
    • Good travel industry knowledge
    • Highly skilled in Amadeus GDS
  • Languages
    • Swedish and English both written and verbal
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
    • Fluent verbal skills both in English and Swedish
    • Great active listening and information gathering skills.
    • Proactive consultant – solutions oriented and accountable.
    • Excellent working knowledge of the travel industry, application of client travel policies, procedures, and processes (including complex reservations and changes)
    • Able to use current technology and easily adapt to changes in technology as they come.
    • A genuine passion for high-quality customer service — we care about our customers and it’s important to us that you do too
    • Ability to work and adapt in a constantly changing, fast paced environment.
    • Must be a “Team Player” and work cohesively with others internally and externally.
    • A positive, “can do” attitude, willingness to learn and grow!
