Job Overview

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites and applications. You’ll work on complex projects, ensure high performance, scalability, and code quality, and you may need to provide mentorship to junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. (Design skills are must)
• Optimize websites for performance, security, and scalability.
• Create or Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional websites.
• Implement and manage APIs and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Stay updated on WordPress best practices, coding standards, and new trends.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of clean design and converting website.

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Deep understanding of the WordPress core, database architecture, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Elementor block development and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Experience with performance optimization and site speed improvement tools.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Tools & Platforms:
• Experience with hosting platforms like WP Engine, Namecheap, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with UX/UI and Brand Design.
• Experience in multisite WordPress environments.
• Contributions to the WordPress community (plugins, themes, forums, etc.).
