QA Engineer

Weshine is hiring for our client (ESGpedia Singapore Pte Ltd), based in Singapore, for a digital remote role. ESGpedia Singapore Pte Ltd is an Asia's leading ESG FinTech, underpinning the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)'s Greenprint ESG Registry, enabling financial institutions and corporates across all sectors towards sustainability and net zero.

Job Description:

Our client, based in Singapore is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer. You will play a key role in raising product quality and ensuring customers have a great user experience on our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing:
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure product functionality meets requirements.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and other manual testing activities, identifying and reporting defects.
  
  
  

2. Automation Testing (is a plus):

• Design and implement automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Use automation tools for test execution and result analysis, ensuring test coverage and quality.
  
  
  

3. Issue Analysis and Tracking:

• Assist the development team in analyzing the root causes of issues and track defects to ensure resolution.
• Ensure testing processes and results meet company processes and quality standards.
  
  
  

4. Cross-Team Communication and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with development, product, and other relevant departments, participating in requirement analysis and design discussions.
• Provide improvement suggestions to optimize product quality and user experience.
  
  
  

5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Write test reports, test plans, and other documentation to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Actively share testing experiences.
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related engineering or sustainability studies
• At least 1 year of software testing experience.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese would be a plus
• Familiar with testing processes and quality assurance methods, with expertise in manual testing techniques.
• Familiar with at least one automation testing tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate cross-team collaboration.
