ABOUT THE ROLE:

Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates (MB&A) is seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Cloud Architect to lead the charge in designing and implementing innovative Salesforce applications, as well as to deliver features and functionalities. In this pivotal role, you'll apply your technical and architectural insights to craft and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions, making a significant impact both within our organization and for our diverse clientele. It is highly desirable to have worked in a Salesforce Developer role prior to moving into Architecture. We are a hands on company and we prize the ability to not only architect the solution in Salesforce, but to actually do the building. Given the scale and complexity of many of our efforts, it is highly desirable that you have spent time developing in Apex and understanding how Salesforce development works including version control and release processes and tools.

YOU WANT TO:

  • Make a significant impact on projects by demonstrating your knowledge of the Salesforce platform and ability to design solutions to take advantage of its capabilities
  • Apply your skills in programming and system design to develop high-quality, custom UI components and integrate sophisticated technologies.
  • Work with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) as part of the development process.
  • Lead and drive end-to-end solution architecture integrity for projects and ensure the functional relationship with other projects
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce instances, continuously improving their efficiency and compatibility with evolving requirements
  • Engage in visible roles on Salesforce projects, including analysis, building, integration, testing, and deployment


YOU WILL:

  • Independently complete and manage assigned tasks in an Agile Project environment
  • Automate business processes using declarative and programmatic options available on the Salesforce platform, such as Triggered Flows and Apex.
  • Develop custom UI components to support business processes using Salesforce platform options like Screen Flows, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.
  • Collaborate closely with a Business System Analyst (BSA/Project Engagement)
  • Leads/Solution Architect to translate business needs into scalable salesforce solutions
  • Stay up to date on new Salesforce Technologies and best practices
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's system and technical architecture to support solutions and scalability
  • Document projects Architectural solutions/changes in Technical Design Documents
  • Assist the Business System Analyst (BSA/Project Engagement Leads/Solutions Architects) in managing work of Salesforce Administrators and Developers
  • Debug and track bugs in a Salesforce org and integrations with other third party technologies
  • Train and mentor Associate and Senior Salesforce Developers and Administrators
  • Utilize Salesforce Knowledge (in internal Org) to promote knowledge sharing (Bug fixes, novel solutions, and other discoveries that may be useful in future implementations)
  • Install, Configure and Implement Salesforce Solutions using Apps from Salesforce
  • AppExchange (ExAM4Enterprise and ExAM Assets)
  • Support Salesforce Cases to assist clients with complex bugs, errors and inquiries on Salesforce, MB&A’s products, and or previous solutions delivered by MB&A.
  • Drive the advancement of technical best practices, solutioning, and consultation for Architects, Administrators and Developers
  • Manage the deployment of metadata between Salesforce environment
  • Automate business processes through the use of declarative and programmatic development tools
  • Maintain mastery of MB&A’s Salesforce AppExchange products in order to implement solutions with those products and consult with on future product features and use cases


YOU HAVE:

  • Ability to use all declarative and programmatic Salesforce Technologies to deliver solutions
  • Experience managing and maintaining large datasets in Salesforce
  • Experience managing deployment of metadata between Salesforce environments using change sets, VS code, and modern release tools
  • Experience working on a cross functional team in a shared service model
  • Ability to organize and complete work on multiple simultaneous project
  • Experience implementing SSO and MFA
  • Experience designing and implementing sharing rules, sharing sets, and Apex sharing to manage sharing and visibility
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with third party applications
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect
  • 5+ year’s experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer, Architect, or Administrator
  • Salesforce Application Architect Certification (Data Architect, Platform App Builder, Platform Dev 1, and Sharing and Visibility Architect)
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
  • Ability to hold Public Trust clearance


YOU MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO:

  • Manage time and schedule independently and in accordance with policies and expectations
  • Meet deadlines
  • Maintain a quiet working space with the ability to be on camera as needed
  • Use Google suite of tools (chat, gmail, calendar, drive, etc.)
  • Use Agile tools to maintain backlogs


YOU MIGHT HAVE:

  • Bachelors’s or Masters Degree in an IT-related field
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Experience Cloud Consultant Certification
  • Salesforce System Architect Certification
