Sr Analyst, Sales Planning and Operations
The North American Sales is looking for an experienced Sr Analyst, Planning & Operations to join the Sales Operations organization. This multi-faceted roll is an integral part of the Sales team, partnering directly with Retail Partners, Distribution and Telco customers to ensure we deliver extraordinary operational excellence to consistently delight our customers.
The wide range of responsibilities are focused on major account sales support and include but not limited to sales planning & forecasting, inventory management, business reporting, product setup & readiness, promotion execution, MAP pricing maintenance and account reconciliation. You will work collectively with Finance, Supply Chain, Order Operations, Marketing, and PLM teams flawlessly executing to achieve account objectives. We’re looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual with strong analytic abilities to support Arlo Sales. The successful candidate will have a profound impact on elevating Arlo’s customer service level as a leading supplier of smart home products in North America.
Job Summary
- Conduct detailed analysis of sales, inventory, promotion and pricing metrics for all products available to Arlo retail accounts.
- Monitor all aspects of the business, communicating opportunities and risks, making necessary adjustments and highlighting areas for improvement.
- Develop strong working relationships with business partners including, Account Managers, Finance, Demand Planning, Fulfillment Ops, Product Marketing, and Channel Marketing.
- Clearly communicate key finding and make astute business recommendations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement steps and tools required to optimize operational efficiencies.
Specific Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate daily sales, highlighting areas of opportunity to Sales Leadership and Account Managers.
- Monitor inventory of Arlo products in key accounts, highlighting opportunities and issues as necessary to Sales and Demand Planning teams.
- Support key retail accounts in the CPFR process including, reporting and direct engagement with key accounts on forecasts, inventory and supply chain requirements.
- Monitor all aspects at the account and SKU level including POS, sales revenue and inventory, making necessary adjustments, and continuously highlighting areas for improvements.
- Conduct periodic Contribution Margin analysis by product and present to Sales Leadership and Account Managers.
- Work closely with Channel Marketing team to evaluate potential ROIs on proposed marketing initiatives as well as assess the retrospective results of marketing programs.
- Monitor and report daily street price levels on key SKUs vs competition and highlight any areas of concern.
- Manage the channel promotions calendar with Account Managers and Channel Marketing.
Requirements

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in Sales Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Retail Planning & Forecasting, Inventory management.
- Work experience with several key National retailers like Best Buy, Best Buy CA, Home Depot, Lowes and their planning systems required.
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $97,000 – 184,000/year, plus equity. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
