Job description

Remote Construction Services Estimator needs 6 years of telecommunications, civil construction or commercial construction industry experience

Remote Construction Services Estimator requires:

• 3 years of experience directly estimating construction required.

• 3 years of experience estimating construction, RF installation and upgrades, L&A labor rates and material cost throughout the U.S. required

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field required.

Remote Construction Services Estimator duties:

• Analyze construction drawings, RFDS, and engineering narratives to prepare detailed, accurate construction cost estimates for new carrier installs, electrical upgrades, and carrier equipment upgrades at existing sites.

• Deliver within tight deadlines accurate construction cost estimates for carrier upgrades and new site development.

• Maintain database of historical pricing estimates and statistics to reconcile estimate v. actual bid costs.

• Seek ways to minimize costs by suggesting alternative design or scope adjustments without compromising safety or quality.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of cost estimates to external customers.

• Approximately 5% of time in the role will be performed outside conventional office environment.
