As Territory Manager reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales in the geographic area (Lombardia, Liguria, Piemonte) for the Life Science Business Line in Microscopy.


Residence in one of the areas Lombardia, Liguria and Piemonte is required.


Tasks

  • You will be in charge of maintaining and developing new business and selling microscopy & imaging & high-end solutions (in labs, research center, universities, hospitals...)

  • Interfacing directly with hospitals, universities, private clinics, research centers, public administrations and with the main stakeholders in the sector in proposing microscopy & imaging & high-end solutions

  • Manage the assigned sales territory and research, develop opportunities with customers in the respective territory and / or product line by documenting each activity in CRM

  • Plan visits to customers and independently prepare technical / commercial plans

  • Schedule commercial visits, product demonstration visits

  • Prepare written presentations, reports and commercial offers relevant to client specifications including public sector tenders

  • Manage tender procedures and reporting tools in order to record the salient information of the commercial activity in addition to market opportunities

  • Manage the pre and post-sales phases and installation support at customers' premises and technical support- You will guarantee the prospection, determination, and implementation of sales projects.

  • You will build on customer relationships and participate in specific training.

  • You will be in charge of product demonstration and training at customer sites and exhibitions

  • Take care of and promote customer satisfaction


Requirements

  • Degree in Scientific Disciplines, preferably Master's Degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques or university degree in Biomedical Laboratory Health Technician

  • Previous experience of at least 4/5 years in similar commercial roles, preferably in the laboratory instrumentation market or previous experience in research centers and / or laboratories.

  • Knowledge of the main stakeholders of Hospitals, University Clinics, Laboratories, in the assigned territories

  • Good knowledge of English (written and oral expression)

  • The profile is completed by: Strong commercial attitudes, good interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Flexibility in working hours is required, the ability to work independently and at the same time to know how to work within a team, with a view to achieving the objectives
