Overview
As a Senior Copywriter on our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative, engaging, and on-brand copy for both internal and external audiences, and marketing materials that support our brand across multiple business units. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product marketing, research, and product innovation. You’ll interpret a diverse set of creative briefs and ensure the messaging, brand voice, identity, and values are effectively conveyed through written content that resonates with our target audiences. Your creative expertise will help strengthen our brand and develop solutions that resonate with consumers both inside and outside our organization.

We are seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our Global Marketing and Innovation/Creative Strategy Team and play a key role in shaping the brand. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling messaging and playing a pivotal role in shaping our brand's voice. Responsibilities
- Copywriting: Write and edit clear, concise, and compelling copy for a variety of mediums, including but not limited to marketing materials, website content, social media, email campaigns, internal communications, and more.
- Messaging Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop and refine messaging strategies that resonate with internal stakeholders and external consumers. Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels.
- Content Development: Create engaging and informative content that educates and persuades our target audience, driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
- Brand Voice: Maintain and evolve our brand voice guidelines to ensure a consistent and authentic brand presence in all written materials.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, gather feedback, and tailor design solutions to meet specific goals.
- Agency Partnerships: Collaborates with creative marketing agencies when needed on larger projects.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency.
- Communication: Keeps the team up to date about project status, including expectations and timelines. Must be able to successfully handle multiple projects.
- Research and Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest copywriting trends and bring those ideas to the client and team.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
5 years of experience in copywriting and content creation, preferably in an in-house marketing or corporate environment.
Other Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles and tones.
- Proven experience in crafting messaging for both internal and external audiences. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong time management skills combined with self-motivation to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Proven track record of success working in a very fast-paced environment, multi-tasking among a large number of work products and internal partners.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with Higher Education and/or Research and Learning industries, or similar fields, is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
