ETS's Praxis division, dedicated to empowering aspiring teachers, is looking for a Program Operations Lead to own the Title II data collection and reporting process as well as the Praxis ETS Data Manager (EDM) reporting tool for the business unit and support enhancements to organizational data systems and processes. You are comfortable communicating with internal stakeholders such as Product Development as well as external stakeholders such as state licensing agencies, educational preparation programs, and the USDOE. You can identify potential enhancements to data collection and reporting processes and collaborate with internal teams to implement these developments. The ideal candidate will consider the big picture while also diving into the details and makes it their mission to ensure we provide accurate and timely data in service of meeting federal requirements and client needs. This role will inform the organization’s data systems strategy.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Federal Title II regulations and requirements and apply this knowledge to facilitate the licensure assessment data collection and reporting cycle.
Work closely with business development, enterprise operations management (EOM), and Tech Report & Secure Domain (IT) teams to design the annual scope of work, timetable, and work plan for Praxis’ Federal Title II data collection and reporting cycle.
Run queries and conduct quality checks of data and reports.
Responsibility for ensuring the annual Title II pass rate reporting process is completed for all participating states accurately and on time each year.
Communicate regularly with educational preparation programs and state educator licensing agencies in support of Title II data collection and reporting.
Communicate with the USDOE and associated contractors in support of Title II data collection and reporting.
Collaborate with business development, EOM, and IT to identify and solve enhanced efficiency in the Title II data collection and reporting process as well as for Praxis EDM and future reporting tools.
Collaborate with the customer success and educational partnerships teams to identify and solve enhanced efficiency in the process of test adoption and retirement and lead the adoption/retirement of tests across states
Develop and implement project management strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives by identifying and managing cross-functional dependencies for complex problem-solving and decision-making.
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with laws/regulations applicable to the job function.
5+ years of experience in an educator preparation program or state licensing agency with responsibilities related to Title II
Experience with Federal regulations and the education technology sector, and familiarity with K-12 teacher certification processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are clear and accurate in your communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of maintaining and enhancing data systems and processes.
Ability to manage and identify connections across multiple projects, systems, and processes.
