HealthySteps is an evidence-based model that promotes nurturing parenting by integrating an early childhood development professional into the pediatric primary care team. Now in more than 300 sites across the country, HealthySteps partners with families to improve babies’ and toddlers’ healthy development and well-being – with a focus on addressing the persistent inequities that impact the life trajectories of too many children of color and children living in families with low incomes.
