How You Will Contribute:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analytics and AI tools to support executive decision-making and drive business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to learning and development, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and a keen attention to detail. The Consultant will play a critical role in analyzing data, generating insights, and leading the implementation and optimization of AI models to enhance our business operations.

The Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in analytics as a support for executive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and Generative AI (GAI) tools and models used for prediction and business related analytics
  • Experience with IT or Telecommunications industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of platforms like Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce, Anaplan.
  • Certification in relevant fields (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) would be a plus
  • Look for insights in data and dashboards.
  • Analyze data to support business decision-making
  • Support the design of reports and dashboards, aiming for user-friendly and easy-to-read formats to leverage insights effectively.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of AI models to enhance business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and AI technologies.

Pay Ranges:

The annual total target compensation pay range for this position is $117,800 - $188,200 USD.  This includes both base and incentive compensation.

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
