Partner with the best

The DR Lead will interface with application and functional leaders to maintain ITSC plans, testing and assurance. You will help to provide and coordinate IT Disaster and Cyber incident preparedness training while ensuring IT service continuity.

As a Staff ITSC Disaster Recovery Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with key experts to ensure standardized recovery and management plans are maintained and updated per Baker Hughes ITSC Standards & guidance
  • Ensuring in scope business critical applications are complying with and adhering to the governance requirements outlined in the ITSC Standard
  • Coordinating responses to all ITSC related information requests and inquiries emanating from customers, regulatory agencies, internal audit, and executive leadership
  • Working with internal business assessment analysts in the evaluation of critical application impacts and corresponding recovery objectives
  • Establishing a test and exercise cadence for in-scope business critical applications
  • Assisting in staffing and managing recovery specialists to assist infrastructure and application teams during exercises and major incidents
  • Working closely with IT Service Continuity Architects and Leadership to continuously improve program strategies, solutions, and maturity


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Have knowledge of crisis communication solutions                                       
  • Have familiarity with business continuity program life cycle plans and source deliverables (e.g., risk assessments, bias, continuity planning)
  • Have 5+ years experience in:
    - Disaster Recovery Strategy, Planning, Testing
  • - DR Plan Composition Experience
    - Program Management Experience
    - Microsoft PowerPlatform Experience
    - Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
    - Public Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, OCI)
    - ERP Technical Knowledge (SAP, Oracle)
  • Have knowledge of elementary IT network principles
  • Understand current recovery solutions, high availability architectures and diverse deployment models (on-prem, Cloud, SaaS, etc)
  • Be able to interact with technical, non-technical, and management staff on a global basis
  • Be fluent in English

Desired Characteristics:

  • Industry Certifications in CBCP or CFCP as well as PMP
