Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred). Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, End of month reporting and generation of reports and forecasting, with a strong focus on Xero. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, Australian tax regulations, and financial reporting. Strong Knowledge of Australian Bookkeeping standards Proficiency in Xero accounting software, including advanced features such as reporting, integrations, and automation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from financial data within Xero. Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders. High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Core responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting using Xero to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk assessment with Xero's financial tools. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies within Xero's framework. Utilize Xero’s reporting and analytics tools to provide financial insights and recommendations. Streamline accounting processes by leveraging Xero’s automation features and integrations. Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring Xero data is audit-ready. Support executive decision-making by providing real-time financial analysis through Xero dashboards and reports.
