Job description

Salary: P60,000 to P80,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM AEST)

 

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Computer Science degree or related IT degree
  • At least 2 years’ experience in one of the following (or similar) roles: Helpdesk Engineer, Systems administrators, Systems Engineer
  • Have used networking monitoring tools or systems

Nice to Have:

  • ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise RMM and ConnectWise Manage/PSA
  • Arcserve Shadow Protect / Shadow Control Portal
  • Zabbix monitoring platform
  • Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Scripting
  • FTP
  • pFsense

 

What will you do?

  • As an operations and monitoring technician you will be working in the Operations and Maintenance Team to ensure customer systems and networks are working correctly.
  • You will be required to evaluate problems, fix issues, and interact with field technicians and observe problems closely until their resolutions.
  • Developing and updating templates for monitoring systems
  • Filtering alerts from various systems and creating email alert rules
  • Monitoring system performance and working with the service team in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions
  • Office 365 Alert Monitoring and issue identification
  • Security alert monitoring and issue escalation
  • Creating Tickets for the Operation and Maintenance team to work on
  • Network documentation
  • Offsite Backup Replications and Maintaining Backups Chain integrity
  • Installation of Shadow Protect on All new on boards, following Installation Procedure, as well as updating and maintaining procedure
  • Deploying firmware updates to network devices, e.g. Sophos routers, Unifi Access Points etc.
