Job description

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team of over 900 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position of Fire Alarm Technician will be remote for the Eastern New Mexico area. Technicians will communicate and report to the Lubbock, TX district office.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years work experience, training or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
  • Experience or training with a variety of fire alarm systems and other life safety systems.
  • May work in a variety of business and institutions including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
  • Qualified candidates will have their State of New Mexico ES-3J Low Voltage Electrician’s License or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses. Candidate preferred to have experience in Nurse Call Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Security/Access Control Systems, and PA Systems, but not required.
