Job Description:

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, and providing support in financial reporting and analysis. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software and tools.

Responsibilities:

1.    Financial Reporting and Analysis:

·         Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis.

·         Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision-making.

2.    Accounts Payable and Receivable:

·         Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.

·         Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections.

3.    Budgeting and Forecasting:

·         Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, preparing templates, and assisting in analysis.

·         Track actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and discrepancies.

4.    Financial Compliance:

·         Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

·         Assist in internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations.

5.    Financial Systems and Tools:

·         Maintain and update financial records and databases accurately and timely.

·         Utilize financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets) to perform data analysis and generate reports.

6.    Ad hoc Financial Projects:

·         Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, such as process improvements or system implementations.

·         Provide financial support and analysis for business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

·         Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to finance and accounting practices.
