JOB TITLE: Mobilisation Manager

LOCATION: London/Remote

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

SALARY: Competitive

As Mobilisation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth transition of newly awarded contracts. You will work closely with the Bid Team at the tender stage, oversee the mobilisation phase, and ensure a seamless handover to the Operations Team. Your primary objective will be to establish strong client relationships and ensure all mobilisation actions are completed efficiently.

  • Lead the mobilisation, re-mobilisation, and de-mobilisation of contracts.
  • Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring all mobilisation actions are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with internal business support departments throughout the process.
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed within budget and agreed timeframes.
  • Chair weekly meetings/calls with the operations team and clients, providing progress updates and sharing the mobilisation plan.
  • Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including compiling asset registers, printing H&S documentation, and setting up PPM planners.
  • Provide training and support to sites on business processes and procedures.
  • Review tender/contract scope of work and develop a retention strategy.
  • Lead 90-day review meetings post-contract start date and attend annual contract reviews as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or challenges that could impact successful contract delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in mobilisation/project management within the Facilities Management industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Flexibility to travel within the business operational area at short notice.
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills.
