Job description

Job Summary

Cosy Hauz A Ltd. is on the lookout for a dedicated Urban Planner to join our vibrant Planning & Acquisition Team. In this role, you will be engaged in a variety of planning tasks that directly influence property development and urban design strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Planning Reports and Property Development Appraisal Reports to ensure compliance with local and national planning policies.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders through effective communication to present planning proposals and gather valuable feedback.
  • Conduct thorough research on urban planning policies and regulations, providing insights that guide project development.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, property conveyancers, and a diverse range of consultants to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Prepare detailed urban design drawings and documents, contributing to the project’s vision and objectives.
  • Utilize advanced 3D modeling techniques to create innovative design concepts that enhance planning proposals.
  • Assist with additional planning tasks and projects as required by the department.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban/Town Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or landscape architecture.
  • Deep understanding of UK planning regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
