ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs for the Digital X-Ray Segment to support meeting identified revenue and market share objectives. Responsible for product launch planning of the assigned portfolio and developing the value propositions for the Digital X-Ray target markets. Responsible for driving effective commercial strategies to increase the sales and unit performance of the Digital X-Ray business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedDeveloping, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the Digital X-Ray portfolio to achieve revenue and market share objectives by attracting potential customers and retaining existing ones.Understand and continually research the market landscape, competition, customer needs, and opportunities in each target market; and assess new potential markets for opportunity.Drive go-to-market and product launch planing which includes but is not exclusive to defining product positioning, pricing, naming, promotional strategy, and messaging to ensure offerings will be launched successfully and maximize market impact.Define and continually refine the product positioning and messaging by understanding the market dynamics, customer needs, pain points and how to market our offerings effectively. Develop marketing materials and support sales and clinical training.Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, identifying strengths/weakness to inform the marketing strategy.Will be expected to be the brand evangelist and key spokesperson for the assigned portfolio requiring extraordinary communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to connect with key opinion leaders.Develop, plan, and execute tactical marketing campaigns to reach the target audience.Support sales and business in driving internal and external promotion including sales promos, digital campaigns and social media strategy. Will be expected to develop tactical multi-channel marketing programs to build awareness and funnel for our target segments.Create marketing programs for the installed base including promotions and site visit agreements.Identify key tradeshows and events and lead the strategy and vision for every event.Manage and track the budget for all marketing expenses.Work collaboratively with all business functions including but not limited to Product Management, Regulatory, Corporate Accounts, Executive Leadership. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in engineering or science required, 10 years of industry experience, preferably in medical imaging, and MBA preferred.A minimum of 5 years healthcare product marketing work experience including involvement in market research, marketing plan design, and implementation with a strategic focus on market share growth.Social media experience with YouTube, Face Book, LinkedIn, X, and other web media outlets.Experience in conducting both market and product segmentation assessment as part of a globally focused healthcare company.Knowledge and understanding of policies and competitive dynamics in healthcare industry.Ability to communicate and work effectively to launch new products and leverage media opportunities to maximize brand and market share growth.Ability to communicate with engineers, technical support personnel, doctors, clinicians, and health care professionals on issues relating to product performance, and the health care industry generally.Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers.Willing to travel internationally, overnight, and on weekends.Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory, and background and drug testing (pre- and post-employment) is required.Budget, expense, and resource management experience required.Must be a result oriented, team player, people person.Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment.Must have and exhibit excellent presentation skills in small and large groups situations.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLSMust be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Internet Explorer, and Google ChromeFamiliarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable.
