PowerBI Developer

 We are seeking a talented and experienced PowerBI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using PowerBI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create data visualizations, and develop reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in PowerBI service at an enterprise level will be instrumental in driving data analytics capabilities across the organization. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements. 
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards in PowerBI. 
• Create data models, data sets, and dataflows in PowerBI to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 
• Optimize data visualizations and performance for a seamless user experience. 
• Maintain and enhance existing PowerBI solutions, ensuring they align with changing business needs. 
• Implement best data governance practices for data security and access control in PowerBI. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data loading, transformation, and reporting. 
• Stay updated on PowerBI trends and new features to ensure the adoption of the latest capabilities. 
• Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective PowerBI solutions. 

Requirements

• Fluent English-Spanish, good verbal and written communications skills 
• +3 years of proven experience as a PowerBI Developer at an enterprise level.  
• Strong expertise in PowerBI, including PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Service, DAX, and M. 
• Working experience with Azure Data Factory, MS SSIS or any other ETL/ELT tool. 
• Proficiency in data modeling, data transformation, and ETL/ELT processes. 
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. 
• Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and data integration tools. 
• Familiarity with data governance best practices and tools. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Motivated, enthusiastic individual with ability to work on own initiative 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field is a plus. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DA-100/PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer.) are a  plus. 
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is a big plus.
