At Gardens Interactive, we believe great games are built on connection. From immersive gameplay to vibrant communities, we celebrate artistry, foster meaningful relationships, and prioritize inclusivity not just in the stories we create, but in the teams we build.
A skilled and adaptable Senior Producer is essential to bringing this vision to life. This role will play a key part in developing experimental and novel gameplay — you will craft production methodologies that empower creative, rapid prototyping, and translate bold ideas into meaningful player experiences. You’ll work across disciplines to create systems that balance iteration, learning, and exploration with the needs of a cohesive product.
At Gardens, ambition and balance aren’t opposites—they’re partners. If you’re excited to craft better processes, foster collaboration, and leave a lasting impact on the games industry, we’d love to have you join us on this journey.
In Early 2025, we expanded our production team by hiring a Senior Producer. This role is for our second Senior Producer, who will further strengthen our development efforts. If you applied to our earlier posting, we encourage you to consider applying again.
You’ll take the reins on one or more multidisciplinary feature teams, coordinating efforts that bring our boldest ideas to life. Your expertise will shepherd teams through the challenges of prototyping, iterating, and integrating novel types of play into a continuously evolving Live project. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Production Ownership: Align evolving team goals with a flexible production methodology that supports both pre-production experimentation and live operations simultaneously.
Foster Innovation: Create an environment where developers are encouraged to chase their excitement during prototyping, without losing the capacity to critically assess the viability of new ideas.
Proactively Problem-Solve: Identify and address challenges whether related to people, processes, or product before they become critical roadblocks.
Emulsify and Align: Operate as the connective tissue between teams, ensuring experimental work is meaningfully assessed and integrated into the broader product vision.
Evaluate the Evaluation: Critically assess the effectiveness of process, ritual, information organization, communication etc, and drive continuous improvements to how we work
You navigate uncertainty and the unknown with grace. Calm, collected, and strategic, you understand the importance of balancing structured “production” driven development with the flexibility needed for creative breakthroughs.
Creative Facilitator: You foster an environment where teams feel empowered to explore new ideas while maintaining a structured approach to experimentation and evaluation.
Growth Minded: You are driven to improve your own skills and are open to new ways of thinking about problem.
Production Alchemist: You know how to blend rapid iteration with thoughtful evaluation, creating production frameworks that turn exciting ideas into polished experiences.
Problem Solver: You guide teams through ambiguity by integrating their diverse perspectives with a cool head.
Empathetic Leader: You navigate difficult conversations articulating tradeoffs and opportunity costs to help your team make informed decisions.
Adaptive Problem-Solver: You’re comfortable shifting between different organizational structures, project phases, and playtesting methodologies.
Curious Innovator: You seek new ways to create engaging experiences rather than relying solely on established game development paradigms.
A track record of success in pre-production, prototyping, and transitions to live operations.
A passion for building production methodologies that ensure experimentation and prototyping efforts meaningfully contribute to a larger product vision.
Experience producing, and shipping, experimental gameplay.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills that inspire trust and earn respect.
A commitment to continuous improvement of your skills, our processes, and the ways we collaborate.
Tools (both interpersonal and technical) to address and resolve challenges across people, products, and processes.
A passion for incorporating fairness, inclusivity, and equity in every aspect of your work.
Teams feel empowered by the processes you implement (your systems enhance creativity rather than restrict it).
Scope challenges are raised, addressed, and triaged collaboratively during planning.
Deliverables align with studio priorities, balancing innovation with sustainable practices.
You’ve earned the trust and respect of both individual contributors and leadership, becoming a go-to partner in complex problem-solving.
