Cloud Manager

The Cloud Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems, as well as leading a team of cloud engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with business goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Cloud Strategy and Governance: Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business objectives. Optimize cloud governance and foster best practices across the organization. Develop and report on key operational metrics to stakeholders. 

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of Azure cloud environments. Ensure systems are stable, secure, and operating efficiently. 

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers. Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality delivery of cloud solutions. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and development, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services. 

• Cost Management: Monitor and manage cloud costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints. 

• Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulations. Implement security best practices to protect data and systems. 

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions. Develop and enforce operational standards, procedures, and best practices for cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications: 

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years specifically in Azure cloud management. 

• Technical Skills: Strong technical background and understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and infrastructure management. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools. 

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Certifications: Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar are highly desirable.
