Technical Solutions Engineer SME | Req#3822

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Technical Solutions Engineer SME. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions to a wide range of complex problems in federal or state government enterprise-level programs.
• Apply a broad knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the field to deliver effective solutions.
• Work under very general supervision with results reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Ensure decisions align with program schedule and cost goals.
• Maintain frequent internal and external customer contacts, providing solutions to difficult technical problems related to specific projects.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 8 years
• Serve as a subject matter expert in functional, technical, scientific, regulatory, operations, or government mission areas.
• Provide in-depth technical and management knowledge of specialized Cloud-based systems, software, hardware, protocols, networks (voice, video, data), applications, security, testing, and customer support.
• Advise project teams or client organizations in specific Cloud-related areas of expertise.
• Participate across all project phases, ensuring the application of principles, methods, and knowledge to project deliverables, reports, quality control, and approach.
• This role may include non-technical responsibilities as needed for the overall project.
