Storage Engineer SAN | Req#3819

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Storage Engineer SAN. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update Geographic Information System (GIS) databases.
• Obtain and integrate GIS data from city, state, federal, and private sources.
• Review maps, land parcel records, and engineering documents for relevant GIS information.
• Convert data into proper GIS formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and update essential GIS layers and databases.
• Create various maps and GIS-related documents.
• Provide expertise in GIS hardware and software products.
• Offer technical support to GIS users.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree
• Experience: 1 year
• Perform additions and changes to network hardware, operating systems, and attached devices.
• Investigate, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new network hardware and software.
• Provide direct support for daily network operations, system utilization, and response time monitoring.
• Detect and correct operational problems in a PC/LAN/WAN environment.
• Maintain network infrastructure standards, including TCP/IP communication protocols.
• Training and/or certification in ITIL, CompTIA, Vendor-Specific (Unix, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.), IEEE, or similar areas.
