Job description

Our Client, a Silicon Valley startup that teaches over a million children worldwide to speak English with their voice-based virtual tutor, is now looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to join their team.

About the project:

Headquartered in Mountain View, California, the company has a growing international team combining expertise in voice and virtual human technologies, education, and game design.
It's an artificial intelligence English voice tutor for children. With the help of AI and voice technology, the company gives children the practice of speaking English. The project holds multiple international awards and nominations, including GESA (Global Edtech Startup Awards) in London, EnlightEd in Madrid, Voice Summit Awards in New York, among others. In addition, the application is the #1 app for kids on the App Store and Google Play.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage traffic acquisition across platforms such as Google, Meta, and video networks.
  • Work with creative assets, running a cycle of hypothesis generation, testing, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Oversee campaigns with monthly budgets exceeding $300,000, including launching and testing new hypotheses.
  • Stay updated on the latest UA trends, tools, and techniques to ensure Buddy.ais strategies remain innovative and effective.
  • Work with the Head of the Performance Marketing team in close cooperation with the Creative production team (which also runs Companys YouTube channels).
  • Engage external contractors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Mobile UA Expertise: 5+ years of experience in UA for mobile apps.
    • Ideally: Subscription-based apps
    • Minimum: Freemium mobile games
    • Huge plus! Apps and games for children
  • TOP UA Channels Mastery: Minimum (combined) experience with the following channels:
    • 3+ years of Google Ads
    • 3+ years of Meta ads
    • 3+ years of video ad networks
  • Scaling Experience: Successful experience in scaling UA:
    • Minimum: From several dozen thousand to over $500K of monthly ad spend
    • Ideally: From $100K-$500K to over a million in monthly spending
  • UA and Data Engineering: Skills and experience in using UA platforms, MMPs, and Data platform APIs to create dashboards and automate UA processes.
  • Creative Engineering: Experience in the process of creative asset optimization, working directly with creative teams.
  • Use of AI: Experience in the use of AI tools in UA processes.
  • Agile Execution: Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment where youll continuously optimize for performance and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Proactive: Self-driven and results-oriented.

  • Global Ambition: Experience in scaling international multi-language apps, or at least B2 English language proficiency 

  • Web-to-app or web-to-web experience is a huge plus!
