Installation Engineer SME | Req#3812

ActioNet has an opportunity for an Installation Engineer SME. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Review computer systems for machine capabilities and user interface.
• Prepare reports and studies on hardware.
• Develop functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Identify and resolve system issues to meet user requirements.
• Receive, tag, and prepare equipment for data center installation.
• Ensure power, cooling, and floor space availability for infrastructure.
• Update floor plan drawings for new and decommissioned equipment.
• Prepare decommissioned equipment for disposition per Government direction.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 5 years
• Supervises and manages daily system configuration and operations.
• Plans and monitors system optimization and resource utilization.
• Conducts system capacity analysis and planning.
• Assists users in accessing and using business systems.
