Federal Financial Systems Analyst Sr Advisor

HOW A FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As our SAP Functional Analyst specializing in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) in S/4HANA you will play a crucial role in assisting our client to migrate to S4 HANA. Here are some of your key responsibilities:

Implementation and Configuration: configure the SAP FI and CO modules to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis.

Business Process Optimization: work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and optimize financial and controlling processes using SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Integration: ensure seamless integration of the SAP FI and CO modules with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Funds Management (FM).

Training and Support: provide training to end-users and support them in using the system effectively. This includes creating training materials and conducting workshops.

Data Migration: participate in the migration/conversion effort the migration of financial and controlling data from legacy systems to Federal SAP S/4HANA.

System Upgrades and Maintenance: be involved in system implementation, ensuring that the latest features and functionalities are implemented without disrupting business operations.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation and operation of the SAP FI and CO modules.

Documentation: maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and any customizations made to the system.

In essence, as our Federal SAP Functional Analyst for FI/CO in S/4HANA you will ensure that the financial and controlling processes are effectively implemented and utilized to support the organization's financial operations.

You will:

● Meet with team weekly and extensive email and TEAMS chat interaction with team and other client staff.

● Use your skills and knowledge of SAP to recommend innovative solutions to client identified problems.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Proven Federal SAP/FI/CO expertise and experience with SAP t-codes, tables and processes; Federal Financials experience is desirable. 

  • Knowledge of GL, AR, AP, AA and Tax within the Federal FI/CO context

  • Experience learning new client business and implementing SAP solutions. 

  • Working knowledge of ABAP and ability to collaborate with ABAP programmers 

  • Experience writing and executing test cases 

  • Experience creating and updating system documentation 

  • Education: Bachelors Degree 

  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience 

  • Security Clearance Level: Government Security Clearance 

  • Strong communication (written and verbal0, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop new solutions to problems and determining new processes, methods or directives. 

  • Ability to provide technical advice to team members and meet with stakeholders to advise on technical solutions to business needs

The likely salary range for this position is $121,680 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
