Reporting to the Field Service Engineer Manager, the Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and servicing customers primarily in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Northeastern United States. This role provides field, technical, and customer service support for Aria Filtra products and processes. This is a technical position that requires the ability to safely perform hands-on work, optimize processes, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Travel is estimated to be 50-75% if based within driving distance of Cortland, NY. If located in Cortland, the travel requirement will be lower (90%)

This position is part of the Field Service team located in Cortland, NY and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Primary responsibility will be completing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for permanent systems and mobile systems prior to shipment to customer sites.

  • Assists in the commissioning service and contracted services to the installed base and mobile water deployments as assigned.

  • Solve problems, evaluate systems and processes to isolate root causes, and implement corrective actions as required.

  • Support customers from startup through to the purchase of their next Aria Filtra and Trojan UV system.

  • Utilize your fellow team members to service our customers efficiently and effectively.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • At least 3 years of Field Service experience or similar, or 2 years of experience plus a technical degree, or 3 years of experience without a degree.

  • Availability to travel between 75% to 90% of the time. (the closer you are located to Cortland, NY, the lower the travel percentage).

  • Familiarity with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical principles, with the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

  • Comfortable working with computers and control systems.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations, to solve site-specific challenges and develop unique solutions to meet customer requirements and drive product improvements.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $33.00 - $36.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
