About The Role
Our Australia HQ is in Sydney, but we have a team of Field Services Technicians based in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA for our customers. Currently, we are on the lookout for a dedicated and committed Field Service Technician to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will work with a team of other Field Service Technicians external contractors to triaged service requests. These range from product installation, service maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of our Cash Redemption Terminal (CRT) machines. It fits someone with a passion for fixing and repairing machinery - getting to the root cause, solving the problem and making it right.
Key responsibilities include:
Act as the technical interface with customers
Coordinate and perform product installations and maintenance
Respond to both email and phone request for support
Monitor equipment performance
Provide feedback to Team Lead on product performance
Liaise and support any assigned service contractors with your region
About You
A valid Driver's Licence is an inherent requirement of the role as work is performed onsite at client's premises
Willingness to obtain necessary licence as required (the company will assist with application)
At least 3 years field service experience including the handling of technical queries from the field
Available to travel local (metropolitan Melbourne), regional and sometimes interstate
Available to work on 7 day rotating roster (weekend work required)
Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems and computing environments
Professional presentation - appearance and communication skills
Experience with hand and power tools, or experience in a similar role
Ability to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelines
Previous gaming industry experience an advantage
