About The Team
We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.
Job Description
The Auction Coordinator will be responsible for controlling items through our warehouse staging area and reviewing the Merchandising Coordinator’s inspection reports. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: determining method of sale, assisting with and reviewing basic inspection on items, pricing items with our proprietary system and preparing items for public viewing with in depth quality
Responsibilities
Responsible for performing Joint Inventory with government staff for government shipments
Performing inspections of inventory items with a proprietary inspection application
Determine best option of our available sales channels to maximize returns for the company
Determine ideal quantity for grouping items into lots and pricing with our proprietary system
Leads the evaluation and the accuracy of inspection reports from the Merchandising Coordinator by reviewing photographs of the equipment and overall condition assessments
Identifies and verifies the quality and category type for all incoming items
Ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience providing excellent customer service to customers and colleagues
Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (on this job your most valuable tools will be the 2-way radio, a cell phone and a computer)
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
