Junior Drupal Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Junior Drupal Developer who will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, stays up-to-date with industry trends, and possesses a deep understanding of Drupal best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our content authors and publishers.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Utilize your Drupal expertise to design, develop, and maintain custom modules, themes, and features
• Implement Drupal best practices for configuration, performance, and security
• Support the administration, upgrade and maintenance of Drupal sites
• Work with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
• Troubleshoot and promptly resolve technical issues
• Conduct QA testing of new features to meet quality, performance and security requirements
• Document application code, configurations, and technical processes; and participate in knowledge sharing

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) work hours.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or a related field of study).
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 1+ years of experience administering and upgrading Drupal sites.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong understanding of web services and experience with API integrations.
• Understanding of Section 508 compliance.
