What you’ll be responsible for:
The Salesforce Administrator is a proactive individual that helps us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and executing on the product road map. The Salesforce Administrator is someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact. The Access Telecare org is highly complex, so the Salesforce Administrator must be comfortable with analyzing and understanding advanced customizations and varied, unique business processes.
What you’ll work on:
This is a varied business facing role, with the following responsibilities:
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Sandbox environment management
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Contribute to the creation of a platform roadmap and defining priorities, liaising with stakeholders
- Own the communication of platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Data loading, migration, mapping/translation, backfills, deduplication
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- User support tickets
- Monitor and improve user adoption
- New user and ongoing user training
- Technical documentation
- Working with AppExchange products
- Technical troubleshooting
- Testing and QA
- Coordination with contractor resources including creation of requirements documents, technical specifications, validation of functionality built by contractor resources, and communication about required changes
What you’ll bring to Access TeleCare:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Salesforce admin
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Desirable: Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
- Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Technical Computer Skills: Demonstrate use of intermediate computer operations (declarative configuration of software, basic programming, relational databases, and operating systems) and advanced software packages.
- Complex Communication -- Frequently communicates complex information and interacts with management. Can present, resolve, and address delicate situations. Can motivate and persuade others.
- Varied Business Problems -- Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, general precedents, and practices.
- Functional Independent Judgement -- Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional area. May make recommendations for department policies, practices, and programs. Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
- Project Management Planning / Organization -- Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.
- A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- Designs and executes on scalable, best practice solutions
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
