We are hiring immediately a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you will do:  

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing an organization’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
  • Conducting thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Ensure the ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 Management Systems requirements are executed
  • Analyzing incident reports and trends to develop strategies for accident prevention.
  • Staying up to date with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Responsible for multiple locations within the Western Region
  • Ensure legal, regulatory, and certification compliance, and implement HSE procedures
  • Manage accident investigations, follow-up actions, and conduct audits
  • Perform comprehensive HSE Audits of Service Centers to ensure compliance with ISO
  • Identify training needs, facilitate HSE communications, and offer proactive guidance
  • Foster effective relationships across functions and with line management, maintaining HSE documentation and risk assessments
  • Manage all aspects of work-related injuries, vehicle accidents and spills of including investigating and root cause analysis, as well as claims management.

We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant years of experience in the HSE field
  • Eight to ten years of experience in Petroleum and Chemical or Oil and Gas
  • Knowledge and experience in controlling broad range of risks across the different sites
  • Excellent interpersonal and Leadership skills
  • Proven record of accomplishment of creating and developing HSE programs
  • Experience of Process Improvement Projects and Implementation required
