As our Junior Financial Analyst within the FP&A team, you'll have the freedom to work from home or our modern office. You'll be responsible for strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting as well as variance analysis of actuals vs. benchmarks and handle ad-hoc request in this context. You will be supporting in creating financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to our Head of FP&A and collaborating with other Financial Analysts as well as with cross-functional-partners including accounting, marketing, product and data teams. You will also work very closely with the entire management team.
Preparing and monitoring of business, liquidity and budget planning to ensure that we always keep our goals in sight
Support in creating financial presentation to board meeting preparation and financing rounds
Taking over parts of the financial planning process including customer acquisition, staff and OpEx planning
Support in creating financial reports on a monthly basis for internal and external stakeholders
Conducting ad-hoc analysis and creating in-depth business insights as a foundation for strategic decisions
Working closely with senior stakeholders, business partnering
Managing own projects on further driving financial acumen, reporting and planning processes
Work closely with the data team to facilitate the delivery of financial dashboards to different stakeholders
You have worked in a similar position for around 2 years, in the best case in a fast-paced start-up
You consider yourself a number cruncher who gets excited about discovering causal relationships and derive valuable conclusions for the company’s strategy
You have a passion for really understanding digital business models down to the last key metric
You are familiar with customer cohorts, lifetime value and marketing ROI and not just high-level financial metrics
You feel confident with financial statements and accounting principles
Data analytics experience and SQL knowledge are a plus
Previous experience with Pigment is a plus.
