Director of Business Operations (Internet Platform, Entertainment)

The Group is an innovative company located in Hong Kong, dedicated to empowering fans worldwide through an all-access digital fan club. The platform fosters connections, fun experiences, and rewards for fans, promoting a sense of community and joy. The Group believes in the positivity of fandom, supporting mental health, celebrating diversity, and driving economic impact through its passionate fanbase. While the founding team is based in Hong Kong, the working team is primarily located in Taiwan. This position can be based out of Hong Kong, allowing for close collaboration with the founding team while connecting with the dedicated team in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

Lead the operational strategy for the digital fan club, focusing on enhancing user engagement and community building.
Develop and implement processes that personalize and optimize fan interactions, ensuring memorable experiences.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences.
Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and measure success.
Foster a culture of community support, promoting positive engagement through shared content, stories, and rewards.
Stay updated on trends in entertainment and digital engagement, particularly within the Gen Z demographic, to inform operational strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in business operations, preferably within the entertainment or digital marketing sectors.
Bachelors degree in business management, operations, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Gen Z behavior and preferences in the digital space, particularly regarding fandom.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in English is preferred; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus but not required.
