With a mission to simplify the home-buying experience, the company leverages cutting-edge technology and streamlined construction methods to provide durable, beautifully designed homes that meet the needs of today’s buyers. 

As Eminence Homes continues to grow, an Operations Director is needed to oversee key aspects of construction projects. 


Role Overview

The Operations Director will be responsible for managing and coordinating various functions across the homebuilding process, ensuring seamless execution from permitting to vendor management and transaction support. The position requires a proactive approach to maintaining compliance, optimizing processes, and ensuring that projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Permitting

  • Ensure all necessary permits are obtained for new construction projects.
  • Complete and submit permit applications for new construction.
  • Assist with septic permits and HOA applications.
  • Address permit application rejections in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate communication between surveyors, architects, engineers, via email and phone.
  • Regularly calling and emailing vendors and municipal permitting authorities to ensure on time deliverables and permit.
  • Ensure files are updated with all documents and permit numbers.
  • Maintain a knowledge of and be prepared to answer questions about the status of permits for all new construction.

Development Support

  • Coordinate construction schedules for each project.
  • Order Notices of Commencement as required.
  • Monitor ongoing projects and provide status updates.

Transaction Support

  • Draft purchase and sale contracts.
  • Assist with due diligence processes for property transactions.
  • Maintain closing calendars for every transaction to ensure team is aware of all key dates and terms.
  • Administrative support duties.

Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain a detailed pricing list for materials and services.
  • Verify invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Track payment statuses using Excel and other reporting tools.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Assist in marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Support communication with real estate agents and external partners.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional work environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe PDF.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • High responsiveness and availability, including the ability to address time-sensitive matters outside of normal hours.

📍 This is a fully remote position based in LATAM, with availability required to work during Eastern Time (ET) hours.
