A growing number of elite junior tennis players seek greater flexibility in their education to compete and train at the highest levels. Sora Schools is on a mission to become the go-to online option for junior tennis players across the U.S. and beyond.

The Role
We’re seeking a Junior Tennis Recruitment Specialist to identify, recruit, and enroll talented junior tennis players who will thrive at Sora Schools. In this role, you will combine your passion for tennis and education to connect with families, coaches, and tennis industry leaders to showcase how Sora Schools can help student-athletes balance academic excellence with their goals on the court.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of junior tennis education, build relationships within the tennis community, and play a pivotal role in growing Sora’s enrollment.

Salary 
This is a full time, 3 month contract role with a possibility to extend or convert to an employee, depending on organizational needs. The compensation for this position will be $5,450/mo.

Location
This is a fully remote role with some travel required.

Preference will be given to candidates living in Florida, California, Texas, or Georgia.

What You’ll Do
  • Recruitment Strategy Development:Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract junior tennis players to Sora Schools. Identify key regions, tournaments, and organizations where elite junior tennis players compete. Track and manage a pipeline of prospective students and families.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with junior tennis players, their families, coaches, trainers, tennis academies, and organizations such as USTA, ITA, UTR, Little Mo, and local/regional leagues and tennis associations. Act as the primary ambassador for Sora Schools within the junior tennis community. Identify and collaborate with social media tennis influencers, podcasts, and other relevant channels.
  • Outreach and Engagement: Attend junior tennis tournaments, showcases, and events to connect with prospective students and families. Host virtual and in-person information sessions highlighting Sora Schools' flexible and customized approach to education for student-athletes. Collaborate with marketing to create tailored messaging and materials to appeal to the junior tennis community.
  • Family Guidance and Enrollment: Serve as a trusted resource to families navigating the balance between academics and high-level athletics. Communicate Sora’s value proposition clearly and passionately, guiding families through the enrollment process.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and pursue partnerships with tennis academies, training centers, and industry leaders to position Sora Schools as the premier online education provider for junior tennis players.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on trends in junior tennis such as college recruitment, tournament schedules, and student-athlete demands. Provide feedback to the Sora Schools team to continuously refine programs for student-athletes.

  • A Self-Starter: You’re proactive, driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Additional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, sports management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in recruitment, admissions, coaching, or the junior tennis world. Strong knowledge of the junior tennis ecosystem, including organizations, tournaments, and college pathways.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel to tennis tournaments and events as needed.
