(Contract) TBM Pilot Role and Responsibilities
The TBM Pilot at pMD plays a vital role in supporting our team’s mission by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of pMD’s aviation department. This position is responsible for piloting duties as well as providing services related to aviation operations, helping the company reach both customers and business objectives through reliable and professional flight execution.
Responsibilities include:acts as the Pilot in Command while on pMD’s aircraft(s)ensure adherence and compliance with all pMD guidelines, FAA regulations, and federal, state, and local lawsmaintain logs and records (aircraft and business), as requiredkeep the aviation department informed of changes to regulations and information about the safety of flight and operation of aircraftkeep aircraft clean and neat at all timesstock aircraft with snacks and drinks along with personalized requests (as needed)plan and safely execute trips based on our team's needs throughout the US, including arranging logistics, catering, and ground transportation (pre-flight and post-flight inspections; safely plan flights; load passengers, baggage, and cargo; analyze weather conditions; etc.) The pilot should be prepared to occasionally serve trips up to 7 days in durationRequirements include:at least 2,000 total hours as PIC; 1,000 hours in a retractable gear aircraft as PIC, 500 hours in a turboprop aircraft as PIC, and 100 hours in a TBM as PICprofessional experience in a corporate setting minimum of 10 days a month of availability, provided 30 days in advance, with availability grouped into blocks of at least 3 consecutive daysexcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectivelypilot history without incidents, accidents, or violations within the previous five years FAA First Class Medical must be obtained before starting have a current pilot’s license and current TBM training certificationexpert knowledge of FAA part 91This is a 1099 contractor position. Daily rate: $1,000 plus expenses
