As we continue to expand, we are seeking an AU Mortgage Para-Broker to support our brokers in structuring deals, assessing financial risks, and ensuring smooth loan applications. As an AUMortgage Para-Broker, you will play a key role in assessing client financials, structuring deals, and researching suitable lender options. Your expertise will ensure that applications are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with lender requirements, ultimately increasing approval success rates. Job Description
As an AUMortgage Para-Broker, part of your tasks will include:
Financial Review & Analysis – Assess and verify income documents, calculate expenses, and determine borrowing capacity.
Risk Assessment & Deal Structuring – Evaluate client financials, structure mortgage solutions, and ensure compliance with lender criteria.
Credit Research – Investigate client credit history to identify potential risks or opportunities.
Lender Research & Recommendations – Compare loan products from different banks and shortlist the most suitable options for clients.
Loan Application Processing – Accurately input loan applications and financial details into CRM systems.
Servicing Calculations – Use lender tools to calculate serviceability and ensure clients meet lending criteria. CRM & Data Entry – Maintain accurate records in MYCRM and other systems to track loan progress.
Valuations & Compliance – Manage valuation requests and ensure all compliance checks are met.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Australian mortgage industry.
Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.
Mortgage Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of loan structuring, lender policies, and financial analysis.
Technical Proficiency – Experience using:
MYCRM for loan application tracking
AOL (ApplyOnline) for submitting applications
Financial Analysis Tools for income assessment and servicing calculations
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to assess financials, identify risks, and structure suitable mortgage solutions.
Attention to Detail – High accuracy in document verification and data entry.
Communication & Coordination – Ability to liaise effectively with brokers, lenders, and clients.
Organizational Abilities – Strong time management skills to handle multiple applications and deadlines.
Preferably has experience working with mortgage brokers or in a financial services environment.
Familiarity with additional CRM or loan processing software.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a client-focused approach.
