Routing Specialist

Responsibility Profile:

• Use company software for route standardization, develop daily route assignments based on student and school requirements.
• Optimize routes for effective utilization of resources and assets to meet customer requirements.
• Assign transportation eligibility codes and bus stops for students.
• Prepare various reports on a daily basis, i.e., route change requests, sequence change requests, new customer requests, etc.
• Monitor all student population changes and communicate with the various district’s administration to develop and maintain a seamless flow of student routing information requirements.
• Work with Schools’ administration to effect transportation services and modifications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience with computerized applications and strong ability to leverage technology to deliver results.
• 2+ years’ experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlooks, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum of supervision.
