About the role and what you will be doing:

The ServiceNow CMDB Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a strong understanding of data integrations, data structure, MS SQL, and technical support of IT systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of CMDB data, support IT operations, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMDB Management: Maintain and update the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Integration: Develop and manage data integration processes between ServiceNow and other IT systems, utilizing MS SQL and other relevant tools.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for IT operations, troubleshooting issues related to the CMDB and associated integrations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CMDB management.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CMDB processes, data integration workflows, and technical support procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and support of IT services.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for CMDB management and data integration.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SQL administration, data integrations, and technical support.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL administration and SQL development.
  • Strong understanding of data integration techniques and tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • You should be knowing clustering, storage and Networking.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
