Job description

Job Title: Finance Administrator

Job Summary: We are a wedding and events company seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to manage our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations for improving our business operations. The Finance Administrator will also collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position will be remote, and the candidate must have their own laptop and internet connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full sets of accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct financial forecasting to support business planning and decision-making
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that they are up-to-date
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving business operations
  • Assist the accountant in preparing tax returns and tax submissions
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Submit AIS for employees

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Finance Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with financial software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must have their own laptop and internet connection for remote work
