Appian Developer II

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and/or a technology focused MBA.

• Eligibility to work within the U.S. or Nearshore LATAM.

• Strong English oral and written communication skills, including high-impact client-facing communications required. Nearshore candidates will be screened for English fluency.

• A minimum of 3-years hands-on experience creating, configuring, and integrating Appian objects into a functional application leveraging Appians expert-approved best practices

• Minimum Appian level 1 certification required.

• Knowledge of business process management & reengineering.

• Experience with integrations with web services, databases and other systems.

• Understanding of process to design and build dynamic user interfaces.

• Ability to understand and resolve technical issues within Appian.

• Proficient in working with Agile methodology using tools such as JIRA.

• Requires 4-6 years hands-on experience creating, configuring, and integrating Appian objects into a functional application leveraging Appians expert-approved best practices.

• Familiarity with more advanced but commonly-used features and strategies for building advanced, dynamic interfaces and managing the application lifecycle across connected environments.

• Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.

• Proficient in AWS/Cloud technologies.

• Solid understanding of the Appian Application Components and Data Flow.

• Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Obtained Experience and Skill Sets

• Experience addressing Appian application performance issues and application tuning.

• Experience configuring Appian, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new applications and enhancements including, but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic and interface components on development projects as assigned.

• Experience integrating Appian with different technology platforms using native integration components.

• High level understanding of various products that make up reference architecture and constraints.

• Appian development Process models, SAIL forms, CDTs, records, reports, Appian security architecture, web APIs, business analysis

• Appian plug-in development, integration with enterprise systems

• Experience managing the application lifecycle.

• Experience configuring Dynamic Interfaces, application components, and security.

• Experience displaying and updating data through records.

• Experience configuring grids and reports.

• Experience automating process workflows.

• Experience displaying and updating data through records.

• Experience with Process Modeling.

• Experience using sub-processes.

• Experience performing exceptions and escalations.

• Experience debugging, assigning tasks, and performing data queries.

• Experience with local variables.

• Experience managing the Application Lifecycle.

• Experience configuring Dynamic Interfaces.

• Experience configuring application components and security.

• Experience configuring grids and reports.

• Experience performing exceptions/escalations.

• Experience debugging.
