Job description

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Aspire, you'll design and implement automated test frameworks to ensure the quality of both new and existing software. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll create efficient test scripts, enhance test coverage, and improve the overall software delivery process to ensure reliable, high-quality applications.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium (for Web) or Java and Appium (for Mobile) to ensure high-quality applications.
  • Write clear, concise, and maintainable test scripts and documentation to track test cases and results effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, improve product quality, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, and performance tests for both web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure effective timezone overlap with the team (East Coast or Pacific Time Zone) for real-time communication and collaboration.

  • What you’ll need
    • 4+ years of experience with Java and Selenium (for Web) or Java and Appium (for Mobile).
    • Strong ability to write clear, concise, and maintainable test scripts and documentation.
    • In-depth knowledge and experience in both Mobile and Web testing across different platforms and devices.
    • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools to drive continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and enhance product quality.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
    • Experience in performance, functional, and regression testing.
    • Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and report defects effectively.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Mandatory timezone overlap with the team (East Coast or Pacific Time Zone) for real-time communication and collaboration.
    • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or any IT related field.
    • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO / SOC or similar
